Some stories begin with a grand plan, but ours began in Windsor, Ontario on January 6, 2024, when Josh (22) and Madi (21) met and quickly realized there was something special between them.

For their first date, they headed to Big Time Entertainment, where they spent the day playing arcade games, competing in mini-golf, and even trying their hand at axe throwing. It was the perfect start to a relationship that would soon be filled with laughter, adventure, and countless memories.

One of their favorite early memories together is a simple night spent painting canvases while watching Disney Princess movies. It perfectly captured what they love most about their relationship: being comfortable together and enjoying each other's company, no matter what they're doing.

While their relationship wasn't without challenges, they proved that distance was no match for their commitment. Living in different countries wasn't always easy, but they made it work through love, patience, and determination.

Over the years, they've shared incredible adventures together. From their first vacation in Pensacola, Florida, to trips to Toronto, Virginia, Punta Cana, Hawaii, New Smyrna Beach, and Disney World, they've built a collection of unforgettable memories around the world. Back at home, they're happiest spending time together at the gym getting a "filthy pump," battling it out in Nintendo Switch Sports, or hanging out with their two cats, Vader and Luke.

What Josh loves most about Madi is how easy it is to simply be together. Whether they're traveling across the world or relaxing at home, he always wants to be by her side. He also gets a kick out of Madi's famous "Blonde Girl Moments," which never fail to make him laugh. Madi loves Josh's sweet and caring nature and the way he always treats her like a princess. Her favorite thing is hearing him call her exactly that.

On December 8, 2025, Josh proposed at Bronner's in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Madi's reaction was priceless—complete surprise followed by tears of joy. After celebrating their engagement, they immediately bought engagement Christmas ornaments for their very first Christmas tree together, creating yet another memory they'll cherish forever.

Today, as they prepare to become husband and wife, they are excited to begin their next chapter surrounded by the people they love most. Their relationship can be summed up in three words: fun, loving, and supportive.
